Yes, FurryFreshness will work on all of these flooring however we recommend that you spray the problem areas and let the product sit for about 10-15 minutes. After this time go in and wipe the product up completely with a wet towel or a mop. Reapply as needed.
Yes FurryFreshness will work on older stain as well as new stains! Keep in mind with older stains you may need to do a few applications especially if other products have already been used.
You want to be sure that you are heavily saturating each stain with enough product for FurryFreshness to work its magic. We typically recommend 15-20 sprays per 1 square foot of stain with reapplications every 6 hours.
In most cases no. A simple spray and walk away will remove most of your stain and smells. For tougher situations, multiple applications and light scrubbing may be necessary.
Yes you can use FurryFreshness in a carpet cleaner. Here is how we recommend you do so;
1) Put the product into the carpet cleaner at full strength. Do not dilute with water as it can contaminate the solution and compromise it!
2) Run the cycle in the desired areas but do not suck it back up!
*Keep in mind that the odors are going to get stronger after application. This means the product is working as it is breaking down the solid bacterias in your carpet and releasing them as molecules into the air. The odors will only last for about 24 hours.
3) Allow the product to sit in the carpet for 12-24 hours before sucking it back up! The longer you can leave it sit the better. Avoid contact with the areas when wet and if available use a ceiling fan to ventilate the room or open a window or door!
4) Repeat if necessary.
FurryFreshness does not have a smell at all - it is completely odorless thus never masking a smell but completely removing the odor causing bacterias behind it.
FurryFreshness contains an oxidizer, surfactant, stabilizer and other inerts. FurryFreshness uses a proprietary form of stabilized oxygen (as bacteria cannot grow when oxygen is present) to break down and vaporize the bacteria causing the stains and smells. This is why airborne smells may temporarily become worse after spraying FurryFreshness as the bacteria has been extracted and is in the process of vaporizing. Our oxygen solution does not contain ANY harsh chemicals, dyes and is completely scent-free therefore it is safe to use around children, pets and plants.
We do not recommend you use FurryFreshness on leather, wool carpeting, silk or suede. If you are ever concerned about a surface we recommend doing a test strip in a small area and wait 6 hours to see how it reacts.
Yes you can use FurryFreshness on most furniture and upholstery. We do not recommend you use FurryFreshness on leather, suede or wood finished furniture.

Why Doesn't FurryFreshness Use Enzymes?
Enzyme Education
It’s no secret that at this point almost anyone looking to cleanup pet stains or odors has probably heard about “enzyme or enzymatic” cleaners. But what are enzymes even? How do they work? And most importantly, are they worth your hard earned cash? To start from the beginning: An enzyme is a complex protein that contains amino acids which aim to breakdown organic matter (pee, poo). Fair enough, but do they really work and are there any downfalls?
Enzymes leave behind ammonia A major shortfall of enzyme based cleaners are their lack of ability to actually completely get rid of the stain & smell… which is the whole goal here right? Enzymes are able to breakdown some of the organic matter into smaller sections, which then require additional scrubbing to remove. Unfortunately, this leaves behind one major piece of the accident - the ammonia which your pet’s urine contains. And guess what causes that dreaded smell you are trying to rid your home from is? Ammonia!
Enzyme cleaners mask odors with artificial fragrances With the inability of enzyme cleaners to rid the stained area of ammonia, they almost all have to contain an artificial fragrance which is intended to “freshen your home”. To the human nose, everything now smells fresh with the artificial fragrance. But little known fact - the original smell is now just masked. And since your dog’s or cat’s nose is up to 10,000x stronger than ours, they still know right where it’s at! If you ever “cleaned up” a stain only to have your fur baby mark the same spot over again, now you know why!
What’s even worse is that when a new smell (aka that artificial fragrance) enters their world they are actually attracted to “mark their spot” over that smell.
This would be like skipping a few too many showers and just spraying yourself with perfume or cologne before a date night. Your nose might think you smell fresh with that the artificial scent masking the odor, but everyone around you won’t be so impressed! Not to mention just how harsh that artificial scent in enzyme cleaners can be on your pet’s super powered nose!

Sticky Detergents & Soaps

Deionized Water Is A MUST
Plan to just use tap water? If you're not using 100% deionized water (don't worry, we do) the minerals and additives in your city water will actually dissolve into the concentrate and actually contribute to the stain.

Many household cleaners contain some level of sodium carbonate (salt blend) which is great for absorbing moisture.
